FROM DAPPER TO DOPE
Digital programming for Dapper to Dope involved commission portraits by fashion photographer, Mangue Banzima, interviews with Harlem style legends, and a Livestream of a public event that took place on February 12, 2015 (with over 1,800 views). For the live program, a "style council" was convened to explore the self-expression of Black men through style uniquely found on the streets of Harlem. The council included, Bevy Smith, Emil Wilbekin, Guy Wood, and Dapper Dan with moderation by Michaela angela Davis.
